On March 1st 2012 the software appointed – Der Termin has won the first Mobile Award Austria (MAwA12). The Vienna-based company DI Klaus Kurz won the first prize in the category „Health, Sports & Lifestyle“ for the mobile component of its product.

appointed – Der Termin is a scheduling software for the medical domain that has been developed in cooperation with physicians. An intelligent calendar is provided to enable the coordination of appointments and teams of physicians, while patients can manage their appointments online and be reminded via SMS.

Since 2010, Centigrade supports appointed with the business look & feel BizLaF as well as with the design of exclusive product icons. In addition, icons from Centigrade’s stock icon set FlareSeries support the modern and elegant appearance of the application.

The successful combination of innovative business idea, pluggable look & feel and matching icons has also been acknowledged by the MAwA. Maurizio Berlini, CEO of Goldbach Interactive Austria in the jury’ s statement:

„(…)The idea and the clear and simple design of the scheduling system with automatic administration as a product for the mobile internet age is a successful example for the potential advantages in productivity that are leveraged through digitalization and user friendly mobile interfaces (…)”
