In 2011, Centigrade continues its support for German UPA, the German association of usability and user experience professionals. German UPA has the goal of defining and advancing the occupational field of “usability / UX professional”. In addition, the association supports professionals regarding questions of human-centered design of technology.

Thomas Immich, CEO of Centigrade: “Usability and user experience are issues that are here to stay. Be it in everyday life or in highly specialized work contexts – usability is an essential topic. Therefore we are glad to support the goals of German UPA, which strives to create good surrounding conditions for UX professionals and heighten public awareness regarding user experience.”

Centigrade contributes to creating user-friendly environments through its user experience design projects in diverse areas, which cover, amongst others, business-oriented user interfaces in the ERP- and CRM-sectors as well as touch-based interfaces in the industrial and medical contexts. In addition, Centigrade participates in trade fairs and conducts workshops to educate interested parties about the possibilities and benefits of user experience measures.
