Centigrade launches product sites for Look and Feel engine and stock icon store
Centigrade recently went live with two new product sites to present Cezanne, the Look and Feel engine for the Java™ platform as well as the interactive stock icon store Icon Book.
Thomas Immich, Managing Director at Centigrade: “As the Cezanne Look and Feel engine is a software library and as such an “invisible” piece of technology, it gets its face primarily through the Look and Feels that Centigrade designs for its clients. For this reason the biggest challenge was communicating sharply which possibilities Cezanne offers to beautify Java™ Swing applications. We felt that the best way to do so was to create a short teaser clip which can be found on the official product site that engagingly summarizes Cezanne’s strongest features.”
The stock icon store Icon Book is an interactive icon browser that can be started and used free of charge. Icon Book comes equipped with a stock icon library, the FlareSeries, which is characterized by its vibrant colors, crisp outlines and distinct sense for lovely details. Thomas Immich: “The FlareSeries stock icon library looks great in a Windows 7 environment and contains 300 ready-made icons for the business application context. That’s why we expect our customers to love the set. Even in case one or more icons might be missing in the library, we can support our customers: we individually create any missing icon for them – just like we do within our well-established custom icon design services. And as the icons we create for them become part of the stock icon library, we can keep the per-unit-price attractively low.”
Besides being introduced on the website, the two products are currently presented at the CeBIT trade fair, the world’s foremost tradeshow for the digital industry in Hannover, Germany in hall 5, booth F04.
