Centigrade celebrates most successful year in company history so far
Even though the economic crisis overclouded 2008 and in 2009 will likely continue to be the source of unpleasant business news, Centigrade looks ahead optimistically.
Thomas Immich, Managing Director: “We are looking back on our most successful year since the formation of the company. In this regard, we try not just to see the fatal consequences of this global economic crisis we are currently facing, but also to be aware of the chances it may bring to the IT sector. We think that courageous software companies understand that in times like these, it is particularly important to invest in products and services that help them increase their revenue and that make them stand out from their competitors. Taking advantage of professional user interface services can play an important part in achieving these objectives. For instance, a user interface that was conceptualized in a methodologically sound way can help keep support costs low due to reduced training effort and fewer user support requests. In addition, an aesthetic and distinctive visual GUI design speaks for itself and in this way is able to attract new customers instantly, smoothly passing the ball to the sales team.”
For 2009, Centigrade intends to continue investing in its three user interface service branches usability engineering, user interface design and user interface development. Core technologies such as the Cezanne Look and Feel engine will undergo significant improvements and current topics and trends such as Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and touch screen user interfaces will increasingly be on the radar regarding internal research and development activities.
