This year, World Usability Day takes place for the fifth time with local events being held all over the world. Centigrade will contribute to the event in Mannheim with a talk by its Head of Usability Engineering, Dr. Markus Weber.
In his talk, Dr. Weber will shed some light on the different ways in which users react to usability problems and what these reactions mean for the providers of interactive products and services.
Dr. Weber: “The event in Mannheim with its talks and workshops promises to be interesting for the layperson and the usability professional alike. I’m looking forward to presenting some information on how the end user can get a voice in product development and also to attending the talks of the other presenters.”
World Usability Day was founded in 2005 in order to “raise awareness for the general public and train professionals in the tools and issues central to good usability research, development and practice”.
