Centigrade sponsors UXcamp Europe 2010

March 19th, 2010

UXcamp Europe 2010 Logo After a successful premiere in 2009, UXcamp will take place in Berlin in 2010 again. Taking place right after the international conference “UPA 2010” in Munich, UXcamp is conceived as international event, too. Centigrade is proud to support “UXcamp Europe 2010” as a sponsor.

UXcamp Europe 2010 brings together interested parties and experts in the field of user experience who engage in activities such as interaction design, usability engineering, visual design or user interface development. The event is conceived as a BarCamp, an “unconference” for which contents and schedules are determined by participants in a active and collaborative manner, which leads to a lively exchange of experiences.

Thomas Immich, Managing Director at Centigrade: “Participating in last year’s UXcamp was a very positive and inspiring experience. Our presentation on resolution-independent icon design received great feedback. Regarding last year’s experiences at UXcamp, it was an obvious decision to support the event as a sponsor in addition to taking part.”

Besides project-specific work, Centigrade attaches great importance to engaging in knowledge exchange with other UX practitioners. Thomas Immich: “Exchanging knowledge with other professionals allows us to actively contribute to the development of the user experience community. As a welcome side-effect, our employees are always up to date regarding recent developments and trends in this area, which allows them to contribute this knowledge to our projects.”
