On March 1st 2012 the software appointed – Der Termin has won the first Mobile Award Austria (MAwA12). The Vienna-based company DI Klaus Kurz won the first prize in the category „Health, Sports & Lifestyle“ for the mobile component of its product.

appointed – Der Termin is a scheduling software for the medical domain that has been developed in cooperation with physicians. An intelligent calendar is provided to enable the coordination of appointments and teams of physicians, while patients can manage their appointments online and be reminded via SMS.

Since 2010, Centigrade supports appointed with the business look & feel BizLaF as well as with the design of exclusive product icons. In addition, icons from Centigrade’s stock icon set FlareSeries support the modern and elegant appearance of the application.

Centigrade announced that the company has officially released its new product BizLaf, the pluggable stock look and feel for Java™ Swing-based applications that converts existing applications into professionally looking business applications. Accompanying the product launch, the company’s website has undergone major improvements.

From February 2nd to 5th 2011 the sixth Servoy World international conference will take place in Amsterdam, informing about latest topics in user interface oriented rapid application development. Centigrade will participate as an exhibitor and the company’s CEO Thomas Immich will give a conference session on building sexy user interfaces. The session is scheduled for February 4th.

Exhibitors’ expectations concerning CeBIT 2009 were reduced in face of the economic crisis. But even though exhibitor numbers as well as the overall visitor count decreased, the fair was very successful for Centigrade.

Looking back at positive outcomes from Systems 2008, Centigrade will attend CeBIT 2009 in the new year’s first quarter. CeBIT is the no. 1 marketplace for digital solutions, trends and innovations in the international ICT industry. The trade show will take place March 3-8 in Hannover, Germany. It will be Centigrade’s third CeBIT attendance in a row. Centigrade will be located in hall 5, booth F04.

Even though the economic crisis overclouded 2008 and in 2009 will likely continue to be the source of unpleasant business news, Centigrade looks ahead optimistically.
