Centigrade was requested by SAP Custom Development to support with the implementation of an individual WPF theme for their customer Vestas. WPF, the Windows Presentation Foundation, is the official desktop UI technology of Microsoft®. A "theme" defines exactly how UI components look and behave.

Vestas' score business is developing, producing, distributing and maintaining technologies that convert wind energy into electrical power.

Centigrade received a detailed specification from Vestas about the appearance of the envisioned user interface. Within the scope of this common project, Centigrade turned the specification into an operable WPF theme so that SAP Custom Development engineers could concentrate on their main tasks.

Centigrade was responsible for the creation and delivery of XAML resources (such as control- and data templates) as well as the definition of the dynamic layout behavior of relevant application screens in XAML.

With a wide range of user-friendly products and customized services, HARTMANN provides nursing and health professionals with innovative integrated solutions. Centigrade supported us with the creation of a launch icon for our wound documentation software skinarea®.

XING AG

XING provides the social network of the same name for professional contacts, which is used by numerous members worldwide for business, job and career.

Centigrade supported the XING user experience team with a workshop on mobile design. The workshop provided participants with information on design strategies and guidelines regarding the design and development of iPhone and Android apps. On the basis of a practical example and by acknowledging usage context and limitations (such as the very limited screen space), the prototype of a mobile app was created in an interactive fashion.

MB-technology entrusted Centigrade with the conception and design of product and tree icons for a Desktop- and Web-Application in the data measuring management sector. As, according to the domain, the functionality of the application was highly special, it was particularly important for Centigrade to take care of a propery selection of intuitive icon metaphors.

OMICRON is an international company serving the electrical power industry with innovative testing and diagnostic solutions. Among other things, Centigrade created individual screen designs for one of the client’s WPF-based diagnostic applications, using Expression Studio. The assets resulting from the design activities were delivered in a form that allowed them to be integrated by OMCIRON’s development team with minimum effort. For instance, Centigrade delivered visual styles of control elements as ready-to-use XAML files.

Centigrade supported all aspects concerning the visual appearance of the company's new document conversion and capture environment DocYard, including screen designs, custom icons and a style guide. Most importantly, they created an extensible "construction set" concept for distinctive module icons and supplied its graphical building blocks.

It was particularly important for their marketing department to reuse elements of the already existing Evidence Logo and enhance it with visual effects (e.g. silveriness, glossiness and perspective) to gain the modern Look of a Windows Vista icon.

Being the leading software provider for plant maintenance planning systems, GiS requested Centigrade services to develop a highly-specialized Look & Feel of their Java Swing rich client. In numerous follow-up projects Centigrade also delivered new product logos and icon designs.

Centigrade was commisioned by Stb Development to deliver a customized version of BizLaf for Servoy. Main focus on BizLaf customization were changes of font-types and interface colors, which resulted in a seamless fit for Stb's corporate brand look and feel.
