The world of industrial manufacturing is on the verge of being changed deeply through ongoing developments in the area of smart factories. Augmented Reality (“AR”) will be playing a centre stage in this transformation, expending the knowledge of the workers, increasing their safety and the efficiency of their work. Centigrade and DAQRI are joining forces to elaborate how the 21st century employee could highly benefit from effective AR solutions. On 22 – 24 November 2016, they will present DAQRI’s Smart Helmet at the SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg – Hall 6, booth number 120.
Building great UX on high tech
Centigrade and DAQRI recently started a partnership in the areas of AR Development and Innovation. They strive towards creating useful user experiences for the next generation of industrial workers using the DAQRI Smart Helmet. The helmet can display context-relevant information directly into the user’s field of view via it’s AR capabilities. It is also equipped with a thermal camera and Remote Expert technology, enabling the user to consult a qualified instructor on the spot via video conference. Visitors of the SPS IPC Drives will have the opportunity to experience the helmet and be inspired on how best to put it to use.
