For the sixth time, the UXcamp Europe will take place in Berlin from June 20th to June 21th. It’s one of the biggest barcamps in the field of user experience. In 2015, as in previous years, Centigrade supports German UPA as official sponsor. German UPA is the professional association for usability and user experience whose members deal with the user-friendly design of human-technology-interaction.

As in previous years, Centigrade participates in World Usability Day on Nov 13th. This year’s WUD is all about “engagement”. Centigrade contributes to the events in Saarbrücken and Essen as a sponsor as well as with two talks.
In 2014, as in previous years, Centigrade supports German UPA as sponsor. The professional association serves as network for and represents the interests of all persons who are engaged in the fields of usability and user experience.

As in previous years, Centigrade is involved in the UXcamp Europe 2013 in Berlin. The annual camp on user experience will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of June and is held under the slogan “No spectators, just participants”. The topics range from information architecture and interaction design to visual design and user interface development. All visitors are encouraged to actively participate in the BarCamp through lectures, discussions and presentations.
Striving to “help people help themselves” the volunteers of German-Ghanaian NGO Boa Nnipa proactively work on projects within Ghana. To maximize the sustainability of their work the young and dynamic team focuses on supporting the Ghanaian civil society in developing self-determined strategies in the areas of health education, school education and training, as well as raising awareness for general political and social issues, and thereby initiating participation among Ghanaians.
In 2012, as in previous years, Centigrade sponsors “German UPA”, the German association of usability and user experience professionals. In doing so, Centigrade supports the goals of the association, such as promoting public awareness for topics like user-friendliness of interactive systems.
On May 26th and 27th, this year’s installment of UXcamp Europe will take place in Berlin. The BarCamp deals with diverse UX issues, ranging from information architecture over interaction design, up to visual design and user interface development. Like in all previous years and since the foundation of UXcamp in Berlin in 2009, Centigrade supports the event as sponsor.
The conference is targeted at web enthusiasts and features three days of intensive workshops and talks on the topics of web design and development. What makes the event special is its community spirit and family atmosphere.
This year’s GUI&Design conference will take place in Fürth/Nürnberg on the 8th and 9th of December. Centigrade supports the event as sponsoring partner.
At the conference, industry experts present software trends of the future based on Microsoft technologies such as WPF or Silverlight. Attendees will learn how to create modern user interfaces that are easy to learn, efficient, well designed and “sexy”.
Besides sponsoring the event, Centigrade will contribute a talk on “Truths and myths about resolution-independent user interfaces”.

This year, as in 2009 and 2010, Centigrade supported UXcamp Europe as a sponsor. In addition, several employees of the company participated in the BarCamp. As always, a multitude of top-class sessions on diverse aspects of user experience design was offered. A special surprise awaited the Centigrade employees in the session “The Future of Interfaces”, which dealt with issues that will become more and more important for the design of user interfaces.
