WALKOLUTION GmbH

Germany

Walkolution sells mechanical treadmills without a motor, powered only by the users own muscle power. For their innovative treadmill desk, Centigrade developed an interactive game to encourage more exercise. Thanks to a setup consisting of a beamer, camera and microcontroller, graphics can be projected onto the treadmill, with which users can interact and push themselves to move more or faster. The application can be used not only in a work context, but also for therapy purposes in rehabilitation situations, for example.
