Numerous IT & Tech companies have started to find use cases for generative AI in their own domain at a rapid pace this year. At Centigrade it was no different: in order to transfer our beloved core topics of UX & human-centred design into this new era, we started an internal transformation that is second to none.
\n<\/p>\n
On the one hand, we have been working intensively on the question of how generative AI can help our design professionals find ideas in research projects and dissertations, and have published our findings in Bitkom’s Digital Design Yearbook. On the other hand, we have
\nlaunched our own AI podcast series, “Prompts for UX” (P.F.U.X. for short), in which we explore with great curiosity and a willingness to iterate which prompts can help achieve noticeable productivity gains in requirements analysis, UX research and UX design.<\/p>\n
Our efforts have not gone unnoticed: After just a few months, we were able to look back on a number of successful project implementations, particularly in the eLearning sector – even though it felt like the AI hype had only just begun.<\/p>\n

In addition to winning the Industrial UX Award, one of our highlights was hosting the VDMA Experience Exchange in October. With presentations and workshops on AI-driven improvements to industrial UX, we were able to attract a large number of well-known companies from the machine and plant construction sector to our headquarters in Saarbr\u00fccken. By the end of the event, most participants agreed that generative assistants will soon have a positive impact on the user experiences and UI conversations of tomorrow. Not for nothing did we choose our Christmas theme with a wink.<\/p>\n

Thanks to our clear focus, the strong support of our existing customers and the great openness of our innovation customers, we have gathered enough insights this year to launch our own magazine – with a new brand, a new look and lots of AI-generated illustrations, of course.<\/p>\n
