Centigrade is opening its third office in Frankfurt am Main in September.
Together with its head office in Saarbrücken and the office in Mülheim an der Ruhr Centigrade now holds presences in southwestern, northwestern and central Germany.
Thomas Immich, Managing Director of Centigrade: „In the last few years, we acquired Merck KGaA, Bisnode, GiS and Berufsgenossenschaft Holz-Metall as customers in the Rhein-Main area. We want to support and reinforce this trend with our new office in the finance and service center of Frankfurt. Because personal meetings are a foundation of our success in major projects, the new presence will simplify collaboration with our customers. Especially meetings with international customers will be improved by the proximity of Frankfurt international airport.”
The new office is located in the bb22 shared office in Taunusstraße 21, 60329 Frankfurt am Main – a five minute walk from the central train station and a fifteen minute train ride from the airport. The bb22 shared office houses architects, urban planners, designers, filmmakers, authors, consultants and cultural managers.
Thomas Immich, Managing Director of Centigrade: „We are looking forward to sharing an office with architects. The two professions share the combination of aesthetics, science and technics, the concentration on users and customers and the coordination of planning and implementation.
Architectural models and a collection of material samples make the office an interesting haptic space, which will inspire our visual design and the creation of interaction metaphors.
In this environment we design interfaces that are centered on use and context. The interdisciplinary office is a daily reminder of the countless conditions in which our interfaces may have to work. It is also a reminder of the need to integrate user interface design into the customer’s strategy and communication.”
