Centigrade announced that it is sponsoring the Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA), the international organization that sees its purpose in supporting “usability specialists, people from all aspects of human-centered design, and the broad family of disciplines that create the user experience in promoting the design and development of usable products”.
Dr. Markus Weber, Head of Usability Engineering at Centigrade: “As UPA sponsor, we want to show our commitment to the goals of the association and its members, namely increasing awareness for usability as a key quality of interactive products of all kinds and providing support in creating user-friendly products and user interfaces.”
Thomas Immich, Managing Director of Centigrade: “Since we are a full service user interface provider, covering areas from user research and conceptual design to visual design and finally to user interface implementation, becoming official UPA sponsor was a logical step for us. Usability is deeply entrenched in our daily work and our company culture and therefore we appreciate the fact that we and our services gain additional visibility as UPA sponsor.”
Centigrade is committed to advancing usability in theory and practice by providing its clients with state of the art user interface services as well as contributing to relevant conferences such as Mensch & Computer and sharing insight concerning diverse aspects of user interface design on their public blog.
