Integrating sustainability into digital projects is becoming ever more important, especially for UX designers. Motivation is high, yet anchoring sustainability in everyday project work remains a challenge. Complex requirements, regulatory specifications and a lack of specialist knowledge make implementation harder. Measures intended to save resources often turn out to be unsustainable elsewhere. On top of that, sustainability is frequently not treated as a priority and ends up behind other project goals.

To meet these challenges, an AI-based solution is being developed that supports the development process in integrating sustainable practices. It helps to broaden expertise, meet legal requirements and factor sustainability into the process from the very beginning. The goal is to make sustainable thinking the norm.
