Recently, for the fourth consecutive year, interested female students from Hochschule Ruhr-West and the University of Duisburg-Essen visited the Centigrade site in Muelheim. The visit was part of the ChanceMINT.NRW program. Within ChanceMINT, the participants — female students from STEM disciplines — pass through various stages on their way toward learning a profession in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology.
Practical insights and possible career fields
As a partner of ChanceMINT.NRW, Centigrade offered the students an excursion-based insight into the professional field of UX design. During the excursion, the participants were able to explore possible career paths in this field. The personal experiences of Centigrade employees provided the students with their first practical professional orientation.
