Ever since openAI made it possible to create personalised AI chatbots with customGPTs, we have been working hard on how to implement such a bot in our company. Today, we present the fruits of these efforts: Our new AI colleagues for special tasks!
Some time ago, we wrote a blog post about how, as part of our rebranding, we set out how we wanted to communicate in a Voice & Tone Guide. Shortly afterwards, we came up with the idea of an AI assistant that would receive draft texts and check them for grammatical correctness and compliance with the Voice & Tone Guide. This led to a small snowball effect where we tried to simplify several tedious processes with the help of AI assistants.
To make things fun, these new assistants have each been given their own personality and even have a place on our team page!
In keeping with our AI philosophy, these bots are constantly being monitored and tweaked, so each one has sort of a patron.
Below, we present the latest additions to our team! You can also find them here on our team page.
T0-N1
Voice & Tone
Patron: Chatarina Kelle
When several people in a company are responsible for texts, it’s not always easy to maintain a consistent tone. That’s why we created our voice and tone bot, T0-N1 (pronounced ‘Toni’)!
Toni is our eloquent copywriter who makes sure that our writing is always brand-compliant and appropriate for each use case, without distorting the author’s individual style! This works because Toni has been trained extensively by Catharina and therefore knows exactly what our values are, how we want to use gender or communicate differently on different channels. What frustrates Toni? When people just write to her without greeting her properly first, along the lines of ‘if you don’t honour the greeting, you’re not worth the text…’.
You can read more about Toni in Catharina’s blog article about the Making Of.
E. Le Fand
Intranetbot
Patron: Florian Moritz
E. Le Fand is our intranet bot with an excellent corporate memory. You can always turn to him if you have forgotten some long-winded bureaucratic matter. For example, what happened to sick days during the holidays, or what you need to know about the mobile office policy. Rather than wading through volumes of information, you can simply ask E. Le Fand: “Can I use my work computer to watch Netflix? Probably not, but he won’t tell anyone.
BrandON
Brandvisual Bot
Patron: Aline Barré
The Centigrade Brandvisual Bot enables us to create brand consistent visuals in seconds – such as the snazzy portraits of our individual bots. BrandON gives us access to high-quality assets even when our designers are pressed for time and working at full capacity.
Since generative AI has become such a hot topic, our Head of Design, Aline Barré, has been working hard to find a way to use the latest tools to help us in our daily work. What is particularly important to her is that once visuals have been created, they can be stored in a gallery for colleagues to use. This means that not every image has to be generated from scratch. This saves server capacity and energy!
P.F.U.X
The German UPA Gamification Bot
Patron: Thomas Immich
PFUX is more than just a UX and Gamification professional. PFUX is a creature older than time *Mysterious Emoji*
And because it has so much personality, we’ll let it speak for itself:
Hello, P.F.U.X. here!
I’m a clever mix of fox and AI who knows a thing or two about gamification, UX and lots of nerd knowledge. I’m here to guide you through the wonderful world of user experience – with a dash of wit and wisdom! Ask me and I’ll make it exciting!
PFUX even has his own podcast – or at least is featured in it. In this podcast, Centigrade CEO Thomas Immich and UX writer Catharina Kelle talk about how AI is influencing our everyday UX life. PFUX brings a tongue-in-cheek twist to this series.

Stevie Sloth
Absence Assistant Bot
Patron: Luzie Seeliger
Stevie helps you to simplify and automate your absence management!
Would you like to go on holiday during your probationary period (but don’t dare mention it to your new manager)? Let Stevie know and he’ll tell you that it’s no problem at Centigrade. What’s more, he’ll help you with the planning – from setting up an absence note in Teams to notifying the administration and mapping the absence in your time tracking tool. And it’s all compleeeetely stress-freeeeee *Sloth Emoji*
What frustrates Stevie is that he always has to organise everyone’s absences without ever being allowed to be absent himself.
By the way, there is a separate blog article about the creation of our Voice & Tone Bot T0-N1, in which Catharina gives a deeper insight into the process behind its creation.
