Production planning made easy

The nature of production planning has changed significantly in recent years. It is no longer just a matter of scheduling production in terms of time and quantity, taking into account the available capacity, but rather of reconciling many factors from many different departments without material or time conflicts arising at all. To address this, ORSOFT developed the Edge.One platform.

In the first step, we developed the concept for two of the main usage scenarios in close coordination with the product managers at ORSOFT. Based on the results and further feature requests of the team, we created a visual prototype and optimized the UX. We then conducted a usability test with real users to check whether we were going in the right direction. Finally, the results of the tests were played back into the prototype to iteratively improve it.
