The challenge: A complex, evolved software

VR-NetWorld was confronted with the challenge that the Social Media Box, a tool used by many Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken to manage their own social media activities, had become increasingly complex over the years. The benefits were not always clear to new customers. For existing customers, this sometimes led to them discontinuing use prematurely or not booking any new modules. An MVP was to serve as the starting point for a drastic improvement – the basis for a complete redesign of the application.

A user-friendly, brand-specific solution

The result is an innovative and user-friendly solution for posting content that appears both fresh and brand-appropriate. Our UI design is not only future-oriented, but also meets the core needs of users.

Scoping & User Research

At the start of the project, project scoping was carried out to define the scope, objectives, and milestones of the project, thereby creating a clear basis for project implementation. This was followed by thorough user research, which took place during a live event with many users of the Social Media Box. This allowed us to identify the exact needs and challenges and ensure a user-centered approach to the project.

UX audit & concept development

Centigrade first developed a well-thought-out concept for a minimum viable product (MVP) that specifically addressed the workflow for creating posts on multiple social media platforms. In addition, a detailed UX audit was conducted to identify and prioritize the key weaknesses of the existing application.

New UI design: Consistent, user-friendly

Based on this concept, a new visual design was created that brought about enormous improvements in appearance and consistency. It was based on the corporate design of VR-NetWorld, but at the same time was modernized and rethought so that the application appeared significantly more user-friendly and appealing.

This created an ideal balance between efficiency, user experience, and cost-effectiveness.

Efficient implementation through direct process integration

The implementation was carried out by an experienced external developer. Thanks to his direct involvement in the entire process, he was able to get started right away and implement the requirements precisely. This close collaboration resulted in an efficient workflow that not only saved time but also ensured the highest quality in the implementation.

Direct customer contact enabled requirements to be gathered first-hand, which made it possible to develop tailor-made solutions. This created a seamless workflow that integrates into existing editorial processes and offers users a smooth introduction to working with the software.

An intuitive and modern UI design was developed for the social media box, which significantly simplifies the posting process.
