Complex testing software needs a simpler operating concept
ZwickRoell's testing software is valued by users for its reliability and functional depth – but it had grown over many years and several product generations. As a result, the visual design no longer felt fully up to date, and there was no consistent line between the hardware design and the software design. Workflows were also not always consistently tailored to the different user types and personas in the lab, and across the diverse machine landscape there was no unified look that clearly reflected ZwickRoell's brand.
Centigrade therefore developed a new, workflow-oriented interface design to further simplify operation and minimize errors.

Clear HMI for intuitive use
Based on the experience of the users, we developed an interface concept that allows an intuitive and structured use because it is based on the real work processes in the laboratory. The clear symbolism of the new icon design contributes to the fact that users can comprehend the functions easier and faster. This allows precisely repeatable test conditions and reliable measurement results – easier than ever before.
