AI Toolchain and Automation

Although GenAI suites like OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, Google's Gemini, or others are becoming increasingly powerful, no single model ultimately solves the underlying problem reliably, cost-effectively, in compliance with data protection regulations, and deterministically. As always, it depends on the combination of the right tools at the right time; otherwise, only fragmented results or random products are produced that do not contribute to a common goal. The training teaches how to link complex AI toolchains along the development process for various problem statements using a low-code environment, enabling them to solve complex problems reproducibly and make them accessible to other colleagues or AI agents.

Who is this training for?

Interested individuals who wish to acquire further competencies in this topic. Good prior knowledge of human-centered methods and advanced knowledge of Prompt Engineering and low-code are required.

Why this training

If every employee solves their own problems with their own prompts or tools, no synergy effects are created, and the result remains fragmented. This format demonstrates how to achieve as many synergy effects as possible in the application of modern AI tools, so that tedious or error-prone tasks can be automated at the root through testable, reproducible toolchains accessible to a wider circle of colleagues.

Contents

  • Introduction to the AI tool landscape and current models (MS Copilot, GPT, Gemini, Ollama, Claude, DeepSeek, FLUX, etc.)
  • Identification of activities that can be effectively automated via AI toolchains (e.g., generating interview guides, transcribing videos, checking style guides, automating user story writing, etc.)
  • Introduction to the low-code workflow automation tool n8n and learning the most important AI nodes
  • Jointly building individual AI toolchains with a high level of practical relevance
  • Inspiration and impulse for experimenting with and applying what has been learned in daily work

Methodology

  • Alternating between theoretical, demonstration, and practical parts
  • Practical parts alternate between individual and group exercises
  • Online workshop in FigJam, n8n, LeanScope, VS Code, Obsidian, and other tools
