Fitness training software with gamification elements

UX Design at heart

Supporting instructors and participants alike

ERGO-FIT wanted to provide optimal support for both instructors and participants during cardio and strength exercises: instructors needed live access to participants’ data during training in order to give individual recommendations and identify problems at an early stage. Participants, meanwhile, needed to stay motivated to maintain their individually optimal training level – not too little effort, but not too much either.

Gamification

Centigrade completely redesigned the monitoring software interface and the training device interface – including motivating gamification elements.

Live data for instructors, minigames for participants

Live data for instructors, minigames for participants

The desktop software can be used to manage individual profiles for training participants, including regular master data and important health values. During training, the instructor receives the participants’ data live and can use it to make individual recommendations as well as identify problems at an early stage.

Individual profiles and health values

An individual profile with regular master data and important health values can be created and managed for each training participant – the basis for safe, individually tailored training.

Selecting exercises and monitoring progress

Selecting exercises and monitoring progress

Participants can select their exercise via a dedicated interface and monitor their training progress – clearly laid out and self-explanatory, directly on the device.

Strength training plan at a glance

The training plan clearly shows the planned strength exercises and provides additional details on demand – for a structured training process.

Gamification elements for the right training intensity

Gamification elements provide additional motivation: small minigames in the interface encourage participants to maintain their individually optimal training level – for example through direct feedback when the training becomes too fast or too slow.
