Conception, design and specification of user interfaces

Interaction design (macro, micro)
Wireframing and prototyping

Empirical usability tests

Communicating / presenting findings, designs and recommendations internally and for clients

Your Profile

Degree in computer science, computer science in media, psychology or comparable discipline
Profound knowledge concerning procedures, methods and techniques in usability engineering
Knowledge concerning procedures, methods and techniques of software engineering
Skills in presenting, negotiating and moderating
Good writing skills
Fluent in written and spoken German and English
Client-oriented demeanor, good communicating skills and excellent team-player
Ability to travel
Keen perception, high degree of accuracy and precision in (self-directed) work
Ability to quickly create concrete artifacts as basis for discussion (scribbles etc.)
Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for creative, user-friendly and feasible solutions on diverse platforms
Knowledge of established GUI standards (e.g. Java, Windows, Mac OS, mobile platforms)

User interface design has never been more exciting than today as modern devices and applications provide designers with new challenges. Ranging from tiny embedded and mobile applications over classical web- and desktop applications to gesture-controlled multi-touch programs our international clients like to come up with outstanding GUIs – and ask for our support in order to do so.

Expected Knowledge and Skills

With your perennial experience in user-centered interface design projects, you face your duties and responsibilities with passion and competence. Your focus lies on conceptualizing and creating individual screen designs and Look & Feels, with Photoshop belonging to your set of core tools. Furthermore, you know how to productively leverage Expression Blend and Flash to conceptualize, prototype and implement resolution-independent and animated GUIs.
