Our colleagues Aline Barré and Miriam Julius will be at the start of Bits & Trees and will moderate a table at the World Café! We are especially happy about this invitation because there are so few sustainable digitization conferences.
Aline and Miri, along with three other professionals, will discuss one of their heart topics with guests: “Sustainable digitization needs designers who understand digital sustainability.”
Bits & Trees is a conference for digitalization and sustainability from September 30 to October 2, 2022 at TU Berlin. Many bright minds will discuss the following central questions there:
- How can we shape digitization so that it contributes to a sustainable and democratic transformation of society?
- What does a globally, economically, socially and ecologically just future look like in the digitized world?
- What can the tech community (bits), justice and environmental movements (trees) learn from each other? And how can they, as civil society, enter into an organized exchange with social-ecological pioneer companies, science and politics?
- How can we become politically active together?
When does the event take place and how can I participate?
