DDUX 2025 was all about exchange, innovation, and future topics in the field of UX and digital design—and Centigrade was right in the middle of it. On June 25 and 26, professionals from the fields of design, technology, and research gathered in the unique atmosphere of the German Football Museum in Dortmund to discuss current developments and challenges.
Centigrade with several presentations
Our managing director Thomas was not only part of the advisory board, but also gave an exciting presentation on the role of AI automation in the design process. Further presentations were given by our colleagues Alessandra and Carla, who addressed the topic of conversational AI in their session – in particular, methods for designing human-centered dialogue systems.

Experience interactive personas at the booth

A highlight at the Centigrade booth was the Person-a-Mat—our specially developed interactive machine that allows users to chat with personas and create their own personas. Visitors were able to learn more about user research and target group definition in a playful and entertaining way.
Inspiration for the future of design
DDUX also offered many other presentations—from green coding and UX analytics to the legal classification under the European AI Act—as well as an evening talk on career prospects for design professionals in the age of AI—an open, honest format that encouraged reflection.
Our conclusion
DDUX 2025 has once again demonstrated how important it is for the design community to network, learn from each other, and shape the future together. We would like to express our gratitude for two inspiring days full of new perspectives and exciting discussions—and we are already looking forward to next year!
