Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the VDMA Day at our office in Saarbrücken. It was an outstanding event, characterised by a lively dialogue about the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in optimising user experience (UX) and usability in the machinery and plant construction industry. We were proud to welcome numerous guests from the industry, including new faces as well as long-time companions.
The VDMA represents 3,600 German and European engineering companies, an industry known for its innovative solutions, export strength and SME values. Hosting the VDMA Day on our premises was the biggest event of the year for us and an absolute highlight.
Courage to change – together into an unknown future
Another highlight of the day was Thomas Immich’s inspiring presentation on the pioneering role of generative AI in our work. His presentation was not only a resounding success, but also encouraged us to look boldly into the future together, to seize the opportunities offered by the technology and not to be deterred by the rapid pace of development.
We were also particularly pleased to receive a presentation from our partner Nelson da Costa Moreira of GEA Group, who described the exciting journey of our two companies towards a comprehensive design system.
We would like to thank everyone who went out of their way to make this day so special. As we look to the future and the many opportunities it holds, we conclude this review of a successful VDMA Day at Centigrade. We look forward to continuing to explore and share innovative technologies with our customers.
A very special gift for your guests
In addition to the professional exchange, our guests had the opportunity to experience a tour of our workspaces, where they were treated to speciality coffees and lovingly packed goodie bags. A special gift was our new magazine “Macrocosm”, which presents our findings from the last twelve months in the areas of AI and sustainable UX. You can look forward to a special article on this topic!
